Established in 2015-2016, The Bloomsburg University Young Classical Artist’s Competition recognizes the region’s finest in Senior and Junior Divisions. Students advance in a multi-stage process, beginning with their submission of audio or video recordings. Finalists are selected in each Division and invited to campus in the early spring to perform live for a panel of adjudicators. Based on those live performances, 6-8 winners are named in each Division. All winners are then presented in public recital at Bloomsburg University in the late spring; Senior Division winners are also presented in recital at the studios of the public radio affiliate, WVIA-FM, with those performances recorded for later broadcast to the region.

1. Senior Division is open to students grades 10-12; Junior Division to students grades 7-9. Vocal or instrumental entries are welcome.
