Model United Nations

Bloomburg University's Model United Nations (M.U.N.) club focuses on the actual works of the United Nations (UN) and current affairs in international relation. MUN is a great opportunity for students to develop their public speaking skills, negotiation skills, make connections, and become involved with the community. We learn about other countries and their contribution at the UN. This club provides many opportunities for every member, regardless of their major. Each semester we have a busy schedule and always strive to improve our knowledge of the world and personal skills.

Some of the events that we focus on each year are:

National Model United Nations Conference (Fall)

Typically held in Washington D.C., this conference is our main focal point for the semester. This is a great chance for our members to showcase their skills in international affairs as well as connect with other students from all over the world.

High School Model United Nations Conference (Spring)

Held on campus, we invite High School students from the area to come and showcase their skills in our one- day conference. This is conference is a great insight for the high school students to view how the U.N. operates and a chance for them to ask questions about a Political Science degree and the various other aspects M.U.N. is involved in.
