Graduate Assistant Interview Day

Graduate Assistant Interview day was first held in 2016 by the division of Student Affairs in an effort to make the GA interviewing process more efficient. The premise of was to bring departments seeking graduate assistants, and graduates looking for assistantships together in one location for a day of interviews. The GA Interview days runs for 6 hours. Each interview lasts for 20 minutes with a 10 minute transition period between each. Which means that every graduate has the opportunity to interview for assistantships and departments the opportunity to interview 12 potential GA's. The division of Student Affairs is excited for the 2019 GA Interview Day and is looking forward to seeing you all there!

Bloomsburg Scheduler

This year we are using a scheduling software called Bloomsburg Scheduler which allows candidates and interviewers to interact directly to provide information about themselves and available GA opportunities. Candidates and GA supervisors will coordinate interviews with one another using this software. A series of brief video tutorials is available below.

Candidate Registration

Through Bloomsburg Scheduler, candidates will have the ability to communicate directly with Interviewers, browse positions and departments of interest, and establish a schedule preferable to themselves. The first step for each candidate will be to Register for GA Interview Day . Following registration, candidates will receive a login and password for Bloomsburg Scheduler. Then, candidates can determine their availability for interviews, upload a resume, view GA positions, and communicate with Interviewers to express interest in specific positions. A series of brief video tutorials is available below.

Candidates who are unable to attend in person, but would still like to participate; can email Beth Brennan (ebrennan@bloomu.edu) to discuss arranging interviews via SKYPE.

Departments/Interviewer Registration
