Husky Ambassadors

Husky Ambassadors, established in 1985, advance the mission of Bloomsburg University by improving relationships between the students, alumni, faculty, staff, administrators and our community neighbors. Our Ambassadors come from many different backgrounds and belong to a diverse variety of campus activities and organizations.

Are you next?

It's the common belief that our involvement in, and loyalty to, BU does not end upon graduation. Rather through our continued involvement as alumni after we graduate, we support BU as it expands and grows, for the rest of our lives.

Our Ambassadors are directly involved with Homecoming and Alumni Weekend, Celebrity Artist Series, Senior Grad Finale, Admissions Open House Tours, Foundation Scholarship Receptions and various other University Advancement and Alumni Affairs events.

New Member Recruitment

Husky Ambassadors

Husky Ambassadors are now accepting applications! The ambassadors work with the BU Alumni Association as a liaison between the university and alumni.

Students chosen to join this organization have the opportunity to network with alumni, attend presidential dinners with the BU president, plan homecoming events and guide tours of perspective students during opening houses and so much more! Husky Ambassadors also don't skip out on the fun. With team building activities and events, its members say they're one big family.

“Getting involved as a freshman made me the professional woman, leader, and student I am today,” said Julia Peters, an ambassador.

Erik Stalford, ambassador president, added, "I joined Husky Ambassadors my freshman year, and it was by far the best decision I have made. The people I’ve met and became friends with, the experiences I’ve had, and the professional knowledge I’ve gained are highly valuable in my life today."
