BU's Academic Advisement Center offers individualized and group support for student academic decision-making to all Undeclared students. Assists students who wish to explore majors/minors and can be of invaluable assistance to the student advisee during the process of defining and evaluating the many goals and options for academic success. This office also offers assistance to non-degree and non-traditional students as well as students currently serving in the military and veterans.
Academic Coaches meet individually with students to assess strengths and areas of growth and provide encouragement so that students can excel. They work with students on motivation, organization, time management, personal accountability, and basic academic skills, and then help students create and implement plans for success.

University Tutorial Services offers tutoring in a variety of courses provided by students who have distinguished themselves by superior academic performance. Tutoring is provided free upon request by application.
WALES offers one-on-one, drop-in consulting sessions to students of all disciplines. Consultants help students with cover letters, resumes, presentations, and Web sites. No appointments are needed.
