Interim Accommodations

Interim Accommodations

Bloomsburg University will assist individuals involved in a sexual misconduct/Title IX complaint, upon request, with changes in academic, living, transportation and working situations if the changes are reasonably available, regardless of whether the complainant chooses to report the incident to campus police of local law enforcement.

These accommodations include, but are not limited to:

  • housing reassignment to ensure that complainant and respondent are not in close proximity;
  • limitations on contact between parties (referred to as a “No Contact Letter”);
  • an on campus escort to ensure safety;
  • reassignment of classes to ensure that the complainant and respondent are not attending the same class;
  • counseling services;
  • medical services;
  • academic support such as tutoring;
  • on campus work accommodations
  • permission to withdraw from a class without penalty
