BU/UPS Sales Competition

The BU/UPS Sales Competition is held each spring, featuring a three round role-play elimination competition and several professional development sessions, as well as a Speed Selling competition.

In addition, there is a career fair on both days for student participants. Thursday evening features a networking appetizer event, where the Dynamic Dozen will be announced. Those students go on to compete for the Final Three on Friday.

The competition is open for up to 35 undergraduate student competitors for the role-play and 20 total for the Speed Sell.

The product for the role-play will once again be UPS. In the Speed Sell, competitors will have 90 seconds to sell themselves to a potential employer. There are prizes and plaques for the top three role-play competitors and plaques for the top three Speed Sell competitors.

First prize for the role-play will be an iPad Pro and a Tom James suit, Second prize will be a Smart Watch (brand yet to be determined), and Third prize is an Alexa. Role-play scenarios are sent in mid-January.

Both competitions are restricted to undergraduates and students will be asked to sign a statement verifying their status.
