BU to hold “Taste of the Arts”

BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania’s “Taste of the Arts” will be held on Saturday, March 2, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Greenly Center, 50 E. Main Street. “Taste of the Arts” features art exhibitions, demonstrations of dance and music, poetry, theatre, and mass communications video presentations. Light refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public.

Opening remarks begin at 2 p.m., followed by performances by the Percussion Ensemble, Husky Singers, mass communications video productions, dance, and the Leading Tones. In the second hour, guests may visit the art gallery for demonstrations, and watch theatre, poetry/prose, and Guitar Ensemble performances. In the last hour, visitors can expect performances from the Women’s Choral Ensemble, poetry/prose, Concert Choir, mass communications video productions, and the Jazz Ensemble.

The BU College of Liberal Arts and the Center for Visual and Performing Arts sponsors the event.
