Final Green Campus film of the year

BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania will screen the final Green Campus series film of the year called “Chasing Coral” to Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m. in Centennial Hall, room 218.

“Chasing Coral” is an award-winning film that examines the consequences of seawater temperatures, as well as the water levels of the oceans. A unique documentary produced by the filmmakers of “Chasing Ice,” records coral bleaching that reveals damage due to environmental changes.

This film is free and open to the public.

Bloomsburg University professor Cindy Venn, Ph.D., from the Department of Environmental, Geographical, and Geological Sciences will be present for discussion on the topic.

The environmental series is supported by Bloomsburg University’s Green Campus Initiative encouraging sustainability, and comprehension of local and global environs.
