The Department of Management and International Business in the College of Business at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania seeks to build a pool of adjunct temporary instructors. This pool will be active from May 31, 2018 to May 31, 2020. The successful applicants are required to teach the undergraduate level management and international business courses. Courses to be taught may include, but are not limited to, the following: Principles of Management, Small Business Management, Managerial Communications, Labor and Industrial Relations, International Management, Human Resource Management, Compensation Management, Supply Chain Operations, and related courses.

A master’s degree in appropriate business field is required. A master’s or doctorate degree in a relevant discipline from an AACSB accredited university is preferred. Applicants must meet the professional qualifications pertaining to academic preparation and sustained academic and professional engagement specified in the College of Business’ policy as posted on the website: Demonstrated ability to work with and/or knowledge of diverse populations is required. Related business experience is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of or potential for superior teaching effectiveness.

Finalists for this position must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process and/or teaching demonstration as judged by the department faculty. Recommendation for hiring is needed by the majority of the regular, full-time department faculty.

Salary is competitive and will reflect the faculty collective bargaining agreement.
